A piece from my "Family Memories" series. This special art card brings me right back to my roots!
As a child, riding the colorful Jeepneys in Manila was super special, and it was a joy to bring my son to experience the amazing colors, lights, and Christmas spirit of the Philippines (Filipinos really know how to celebrate Christmas!)
The Story: Slowpokes in Manila
The original photo was of my son, Brody, and me celebrating Christmas with their Lola. I thought it was perfect to swap us out with Slowpoke, as we are definitely the chilled, slow-moving Pokémon of our family! I wanted to capture the sheer fun and childhood joy we shared, immersed in that bright, colorful, festive Filipino style.
It’s a genuine tribute to the fun and laughter we share while travelling together.
